For nearly ten years, I have been helping individuals, couples, and families facing life challenges work towards personal wholeness and growth. As a professional counsellor, I have assisted those facing issues such as:
- depression and anxiety
- trauma and recovery
- grief and loss
- marriage and family conflict
- parenting concerns
- relationship-based concerns including communication, conflict resolution, and infidelity
In therapy, I hope to join with clients in creating an environment where openness and exploration is safe. My approach in therapy is one of respect, empathy, and nurturance, recognizing the uniqueness of every individual and circumstance. I provide both short and long term counselling drawing from a variety of therapeutic models including: cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, emotion-focused, mindfulness-based, and narrative approaches to therapy. Regardless of modality, it is always my goal to aid the process of self-discovery leading to empowerment, clarity, and authentic life opportunities.
I currently run my counselling practice out of the offices of New Roots Therapy in Whitby, Ontario. New Roots Therapy is a multi-disciplinary clinic which offers counselling, behaviour, and naturopathic services to individuals, couples, and families in the Durham Region.
Whether you’re facing emotional, behavioural, or relational challenges – or are in need of healing or change – I’d be happy to connect with you and join your journey of personal discovery and growth!
Office Location: 213 Byron Street South, Unit 203, Whitby, Ontario, L1N 4P7
